Meet Izahir from Simptel

Izahir Clemencia is one of the co-founders of Simptel, a whitelabel communications platform provider that connects mobile networks 4G/5G (MVNE), applications, IoT devices, and platforms with your target audience under your own brand. Simptel and the Future platform were created by two entrepreneurial brothers, Izahir and Alexander Clemencia. Their experiences in events, food, and IT consultancy ignited their desire for innovation and change.

The start of a future platform

Meanwhile, the Future platform is taking shape while Alexander is on a trip to Los Angeles with his college friends. This visionary concept, which he pitched to Izahir and one of those friends, Mohamed, has ignited a passion for revolutionizing the telecom landscape. To bring this vision to life, Deep, a trusted friend, teamed up with them to lay the foundation in India. 

Simptel emerged from the combined expertise and thirst for innovation sparked by a critical observation made while operating as a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the complex telecom industry. They identified a gap in the communications market where the essence of connectivity was overshadowed by competition and monopolistic practices. Their mission is to redefine telecom, restore its authentic purpose, and fortify their platform's security. Most importantly, they aim to keep it simple. 

Charting our own path 

Simptel is not afraid of competition. "We are charting our own path, shaping our future, and striving to make our dreams a reality." Simptel believes that everyone brings something unique to the market, and their focus lies in embracing individual dreams and passions, ensuring that what they offer stands out distinctly. 

And how does Simptel create customer loyalty? "By seeing clients as friends and considering them as partners on your path." According to Izahir, it is about building genuine relationships, understanding needs, and collaborating closely to ensure mutual growth and success.

From a youthful fascination to full-fledged entrepreneurial venture 

The two brothers started their entrepreneurial journey early on, with a passion for building websites for others. What started as a youthful fascination soon transformed into a full-fledged entrepreneurial venture. They honed their skills, navigating the digital landscape, and as they grew, so did their aspirations.  

And how do they feel about their entrepreneurial journey? Alexander responds: “Entrepreneurship, to us, embodies the essence of breathing life into ideas, watching them thrive in the vibrant marketplace.” They see entrepreneurship as the art of transforming concepts into living, impactful entities, witnessing their evolution, and leaving an enduring mark on the world.

Steps to entrepreneurship  

How did Izahir and his brother prepare for entrepreneurship? In different steps: researching the industry, refining business ideas, and building a solid network. Izahir continues: “I also focused on honing skills, seeking mentorship, and understanding market demands.” Financial planning, creating a business roadmap, and staying adaptable were crucial. Ultimately, the preparation was about combining knowledge, experience, and a resilient mindset to navigate the unpredictable journey of entrepreneurship. 

In the early stages, progress was slow with minimal returns, and they opted to reinvest their own earnings back into the business. While there were setbacks and errors, Izahir says each became a valuable lesson in our entrepreneurial journey. Every investment, whether yielding experience or profit, contributed positively to their growth. “From these experiences, we learned the importance of patience and maintaining a positive outlook, remaining steadfast toward the predefined goals we set for ourselves.” They never doubted between different legal entities; a private limited company suited best.

Effective time management and prioritization 

Izahir balances social life with entrepreneurship through effective time management and prioritization. In this, scheduling dedicated time for both is crucial—setting boundaries for work and allocating specific slots for social activities. At networking events, collaborative projects or team outings socializing merges with business. “You also need a supportive environment in which your work circle can blend social interactions with professional pursuits, enriching both aspects of life.” 

Future driven by innovation and connectivity. 

Simptel envisions a sustainable future based on data privacy and connectivity. Their primary goal is to simplify the complexities of telecommunications and make them accessible to everyone.

At present, Simptel is constructing a cloud-native platform that incorporates OpenID Connect as a Service, Cloud IMS, 5G Core as a Service, Partner Management as a Service, and a fully-fledged Integrations Platform. They have also been working on incorporating holographic meetings, an experimental virtualization technology, into their roadmap for the last four years. 

In the future, Simptel aims to transform telecommunications into easy-to-use APIs, making them accessible to customers without any telco expertise, while also prioritizing data privacy and regulatory requirements. They are working on facilitating application-to-network integration to create a seamless user experience. 

To ensure seamless integration with various systems, Simptel has developed an Integrations Platform that fosters efficiency and flexibility. They are also excited to embrace the future by introducing Holographic Meetings, pioneering the next level of immersive and interactive communication experiences. 

The Clemencia Brothers’ Best Advice 

The best advice the Clemencia Brothers have received is: “Always keep smiling and maintain a positive outlook, even if the situation doesn’t seem favorable.” With all the wise words they’ve shared, they also have valuable advice for (starting) entrepreneurs: 

  1. Follow Your Passion: Choose something you’re truly passionate about. Entrepreneurship requires dedication, so start with something that genuinely ignites your enthusiasm. 
  2. Be Flexible: Embrace change and be ready to adapt. Flexibility is key to thriving in a dynamic market. 
  3. Learn from Failures: Mistakes are inevitable. Don’t see them as roadblocks but rather as learning opportunities that help you grow. 
  4. Build a Network: Connections are crucial. Foster relationships within and outside your industry. A strong network can open doors and provide invaluable support. 
  5. Be Financially Savvy: Manage your finances wisely. Learn to budget, keep costs in check, and be cautious with investments. 
  6. Focus on Customer Satisfaction: Put the customer at the center. Listen to feedback, constantly improve, and deliver exceptional service to strengthen customer loyalty. 
  7. Keep Learning: Entrepreneurship involves continual growth. Explore new trends and technologies to stay relevant. 
  8. Practice Patience and Persistence: Success doesn’t happen overnight. Stay motivated, persevere, and be patient on the journey toward success.
